How we built Mega a company profile that carries four disciplines

An EPC contractor spanning electrical, mechanical, civil and automation work needed one document procurement teams could actually use, certifications first, because that is what they read before anything else.

The Brief

Construction company profile design: the brief

Mega runs as an EPC contractor. It works across four disciplines at once: electrical, mechanical, civil and automation. A single document had to hold all four.

None of the four could dominate the page. A profile that reads as mostly electrical, with the other three as an afterthought, undersells a genuinely integrated contractor.

The document also could not become a stack of unrelated project sheets. A reader flipping through it had to feel one company, not four departments sharing a cover.

Procurement teams read a document like this in a specific order. Certifications come first, then the project record. The structure had to put credentials somewhere fast to find.

A construction company profile also has to survive a bid room. It gets handed across a table, glanced at for thirty seconds, and judged in that time.

The brief asked for a document that could do all of that at once: prove four disciplines, lead with credentials, and still read as one coherent company.

The Build

What we built

Project pages follow one repeating shape. A header bar opens each one. A fact panel for the contractor and scope comes next, then the plant photography itself.

That repetition matters. A reader compares projects like with like, instead of relearning a new layout on every page they turn to.

The ASME R, U and S stamps get their own section. So do the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certificates. That is what procurement reads first, so it comes early.

The company profile design holds bilingual technical terms at the same visual weight as the Arabic body copy around them.

Photography of power plants and pipework carries most of the visual weight. It proves capability faster than a paragraph of description ever could.

Type sizes hold at press. That matters when a document this technical gets handed over as a physical copy, not read on a screen in good light.

The Details

A document built for how it gets read

The result is a single company profile a procurement reviewer can navigate the same way twice. Certifications come first, then discipline, then the project record, in that order every time.

That consistency is what makes the four disciplines read as one operation. A reader never has to stop and work out which department a project page belongs to.

The certifications section alone answers most of a first-round screening. A reviewer can shortlist Mega without waiting for a follow-up call to confirm compliance.

The project-page template also scales. A fifth or sixth major project slots into the same shape without a redesign of the pages that already exist.

That is the actual test of a template system: whether next year's project looks like it belongs, without anyone opening the original design file again.

This page documents the build: what was designed, developed and shipped. We publish performance figures only for engagements where we hold the measurement, which is why this entry reports scope instead of statistics. The programs we can measure are on the success stories page.
